GIZ Job Vacancy 2022
Job Tasks:
- Responsibility for the programs’ financial cost and expenditure planning, expenditure and cash monitoring
- Technical supervision of financial and administrative program staff
- Preparation and monitoring of finance agreements and consultancy contracts, supporting recipients and suppliers in compliance with GIZ guidelines
- Supporting EU financial reports and audits by securing correct preparation of vouchers and allocations according to the EU contribution agreement
- Responsibility for annual inventory counts, internal controls, and external audits
- Regular quality assurance in accordance with the internal regulations on data filing
- Guidance on the introduction or handling of digital (financial) planning (i.e. OnSite Reporting and OnSite Operations), procurement and consulting contracts and administrative procedures
- Advising the project manager on commercial decisions, interpretation of financial data and budget drafting for change offers or subsequent projects and liaising with respective finance managers at headquarters and the country office.
