Interpol Job Vacancy 2023
Duties:
- Perform outreach towards AFRIPOL strategy and governance teams, and conduct research and analysis of relevant papers, legal, and policy documents, and all type of resources, in order to provide a comprehensive understanding of relevant issues and relevant developments in support of the implementation of ISPA.
- Assist in the monitoring of strategic and political events, policy decisions, trends, and other issues in the African continent with implications for the implementation of ISPA.
- Assist in the drafting of speeches, presentations, talking points, statements, briefing material, official correspondence and other strategic documents, in support of implementation of ISPA through visits, conferences, and bilateral/multilateral meetings with senior government, law enforcement officials, stakeholders and partner international organizations.
- Support the implementation of ISPA through liaising with the relevant African Union Institutions at the Organization’s Headquarters in Addis Ababa, and regularly representing ISPA and its strategic and governance pillars to the African Union’s relevant stakeholders, meetings, and conferences.
- Perform all other duties as may be directed by the hierarchy to ensure smooth functioning of the SRIAU Office in support to INTERPOL Programmes serving in Africa.
- Perform any other duties as required by the Supervisor.

Qualification & Experience:
- University in the field of political science or law.
- At least three years’ experience in research and strategic/analysis on contemporary international security threats, in law enforcement organization or in another organization dealing with crime-related issues.
- Working experience in Africa would be an asset.
