MSI Job Vacancy 2023
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and consult with USAID and USAID Implementing Partners (IPs) on an ongoing basis under the leadership of the Director of Evidence.
- Develop the monitoring plan including site visit plans, specifying IPs, sectors, and modalities to be monitored following consultations with USAID and USAID IPs.
- Contribute to the development of data collection instruments specific to humanitarian sectors and implementation modalities.
- Oversee the training of data collection teams and implementation of data collection.
- Coordinate with USAID IPs to plan data collection specific logistics.
- Ensure the quality of the data collected in the field is valid and in line with the technical design of the project.
- Oversee the work of the data analyst including review and correcting all monitoring reports.
- Communicate any monitoring activity shortcomings to relevant parties and take the appropriate steps to improve team and individual performance when and where needed.
- Responsible for the quality and timeliness of all TPM deliverables.
- Conduct and oversee quantitative and qualitative analysis of raw data and organize data for use by the team.
- Support in the presentation of findings, conclusions, and recommendations to program stakeholders as requested.

Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a field such as economics, sociology, social sciences, information technology, or statistics is required.
- Minimum five years of relevant professional experience is required.
- Minimum two years of experience working on any of the development and humanitarian sectors such as health and nutrition; water, sanitation, and hygiene; food security; economic recovery and market systems; protection; or emergency shelter is required.
- Experience conducting research and data collection in Ethiopia is required.
