Duties and Responsibilities: CATALYZE MS4G seeks to hire an operations Manager to plan and oversee the daily operations of the organization to ensure goals and objectives are achieved. The Operation Manager will oversee the overall activities in areas of Logistics, Office Management and IT. Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Ensures of administrative and office management activities based on available Standard Operating Procedures, guidelines and manuals.
- Assists the operations team in management of fixed assets (count, disposition and relocation),
- Works closely with regional and sub regional project managers and administrators and gives his/her support on administrative matters.
- Conducts periodic supervisory trips to field offices to provide guidance and address administrative matters.
- Oversee all office, office equipment and asset preventive maintenance and repair to ensure all operations are working in order and ensure optimum functionality.
- Supervise arrangements for visitors and staff visiting the Ethiopia Office and communicated in a timely manner and coordinate and provide support (accommodation, office and office equipment, telephone, etc.) to international guests and visitors on arrival.
- Ensure logistics memo is issued for all travel.
- erves as a Focal Person for all day-to-day security coordination for the project.
- Maintaining coordination with USAID implementing partners to monitor security updates and advise travellers accordingly.
- Ensures project travel is in accordance with security procedure.
- Works closely with Logistics Specialist to ensure vehicles are serviced regularly.
- Ensure vehicle logs and fuel consumption are monitored.
- Coordinate movements and trips with cars and flights (tickets, car organisation, hotel reservation, etc.), inform partners of all kind of missions in the field, plan dispatch and allocate cars to people travelling
- Coordinate logistics for all air and road project travel.
