Duties and Responsibilities:
- Advise on the collection, analysis and interpretation of transportation data, field surveys, develop transportation planning priorities, designs.
- Review the transportation rules and regulations, land use development plans, transportation impact analyses, zoning ordinances, subdivision of the country.
- Analyze existing situations, constraints, opportunities, future trends, and transport spatial plans of regions.
- Advise on the design and conduction of complex technical planning studies for the regional plan preparation and implementation.
- Assess infrastructure requirements for new developments the regional plan implementation.

Qualification:

Experience

- English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the position advertised, fluency in English (both oral and written) is required. Knowledge of any of the local languages is an asset.
