About the Consultancy: Through AGCCI, UN Women proposes to develop a communication and advocacy strategy which includes:
- Mapping of key media outlets and relevant visibility tools continentally and in the 11 target countries specifically;
- Develop a comprehensive communication and advocacy strategy for the 2nd phase of AGCCI;
- Develop AGCCI specific templates, key messages, set of generic materials that are ready for use by country offices in line with UN Women communication guideline;
- Develop social media strategy for the rollout of AGCCI 2nd phase and a media engagement protocol in line with UN Women communication guidelines;
- Guide on engaging internal and external stakeholders to support and strength partnership and coordination with multiple stakeholders and enhance resource mobilization.

Qualification:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in communications, journalism, media, and international relations or a related field is required.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of professional work experience at national or international level in public relations, communications or advocacy, research including in media relations.
- Experience in using technology such as Adobe Photoshop, In Design and other softwares.
- Experience working with intergovernmental and/or regional organizations including the United Nations (UN) and African Union (AU).
- Knowledge of GEWE and experience communicating on GEWE is critical.
