Save The Children Job Vacancy 2022
Role Purpose: The Emergency Shelter NFI Project Coordinator is responsible to facilitate and ensuring timely delivery of Emergency Shelter and Settlement responses in Afar, Tigray & Amhara area/field offices in collaboration with WaSH, CP, Health and Nutrition staffs. The post holder is responsible to implement Emergency Shelter and settlement activities as well as liaising with local government, field office team, Zonal /Woreda Shelter NFI and WASH sub national cluster. The Emergency Shelter NFI Project Coordinator is also responsible to ensuring the Shelter humanitarian needs and gaps are properly assessed in full consultation with Field office Project coordinators, response managers and officers. In addition, to implement proposed Shelter-NFI interventions such as, Distribution of Emergency Shelter items, NFI, shelter repair kits, and Shelter construction and COVID-19 awareness and risk communication. S/He will also be responsible to provide technical guidance to beneficiary community and local authorities to ensure the high quality of Shelter and NFI response.

Qualification:

- A minimum of 5 years related work experience in the area of emergency Shelter and NFI out of which at least 2-year experience in humanitarian response
- Experience in working with in Emergency Shelter assistance. This includes technical support, capacity building and coordination.
