UNFPA Job Vacancy 2024
You would be responsible for:
- Support the SRH team and implementing partners to develop, implement and monitor integrated SRH-GBV services.
- Participate in monitoring of supported SRH projects and consolidate monitoring reports on all SRH initiatives.
- Participate/monitor the implementation of SRH related training (including MISP, CMR) activities supported by UNFPA with a view ensuring quality of delivery.
- Support the RMNCAYH Case Team Coordinator of the RHB in the preparation of SRH TWG coordination meetings (preparation of minutes, development of reports, oral presentations, PowerPoints, maintenance of an up to date 4-W for SRH etc)
- Support the RMNCAYH Case Team Coordinator the RHB in regularly providing updates on SRH in the Health Cluster coordination meetings.
- Support the preparation of presentations in powerpoint on issues related to SRH, maternal mortality, CSE, HIV and Midwifery.
- Regularly share the RHB bureau priorities, and directions to the SRH team and the Sub-office.
- Support monitoring of supplies at the supported one stop centres with the view of preventing stock outs at all times.
- Support the distribution of IARH Kits and monitor utilization to promote rational use.
- Update relevant data in SRH, HIV and midwifery.
- Undertake scientific literature searches in scientific databases around SRH.
- Write proceedings of workshops/trainings, SRH and other related meetings
- In consultation and with the guidance of the SRH team and head of office, support implementing partners for quality delivery results.
- support in collecting, analyzing and organizing date/ information for thematic briefs and proposal development.
- Support with any other tasks as requested by management.

Minimum Requirements:
Education:
- Be enrolled in a first university degree programme (such as bachelor’s degree or equivalent around health preferably public health, midwifery) and have completed one full academic year.
- Be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme (such as master’s programme or higher);
- Have recently graduated with a university degree as defined above and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation; or
- Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional trainee programme and undertake the internship as part of this programme.
Experience:
- Some experience in working with development agencies, including in volunteer capacity.
- Strong analytical and writing skills.
- Initiative, sound judgment and demonstrated ability to work harmoniously with staff members from different national and cultural backgrounds.
Languages:
- Fluency in English language is required.
