Trocaire Job Vacancy 2023
Responsibilities:
- In coordination with the Head of CST Ethiopia Office, MSD Coordinator, DCD-Head of Programmes, Business Development Manager, and Resilient Communities Programme Manager ensure that all livelihood projects are applying under Livelihood approaches and standards and set basis for MSD principles.
- Jointly responsible with partners for the effective implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting on the project, in line with jointly agreed standards (programme cycle management) and Donor requirements.
- Ensure the implementation of the project activities as per the outcomes, activities, budget, and timeframe indicated in Donor contracts.
- In collaboration with Partners Livelihood officers conduct viable livelihood assessments and design interventions with consultation to relevant Partners staff and stakeholders.
- Contribute, where appropriate and in agreement with partners, to advocacy and information work on market related policy and practice with relevant stakeholders in the region
- Facilitate, monitor implementation, and accompany Consultants during assessments, VC-analysis, and Business case Development.
- Attend livelihood promotion forums and clusters in the Region and inform the Head of CST Ethiopia office and DCD-Head of programmes for further improvement of Livelihood programme design.
- Develop, nurture, and manage relationships with CST Ethiopia’s partner organisations in line with the principles and standards set in our Partnership Policy, guidance, and tools, and in agreement with the Head of CST Ethiopia Office and DCD-Head of Programmes.
- Work with partners to regularly assess the quality of the relationship, ensuring that effective communication channels are in place, and that any shortcomings are addressed.
- In collaboration with Head of CST Ethiopia office identify capacity needs among Implementing partners and other relevant stakeholders around understanding and applying CST Ethiopia’s livelihood approaches and standards and related topics
- Provide training and accompaniment to Implementing partner staff to ensure effective project implementation is in place.
- In collaboration with Head of CST Ethiopia office and MSD Coordinator, facilitate/ coordinate training related to Market/Income generating Activities/ Business Development Service, entrepreneurship to Partner staff.
