UNDP Job Vacancy 2023
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Under the guidance of the supervisor, support the organization, coordination and monitoring and support to the activities of UN Women humanitarian programme in Tigray
- Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the project work plan, including budget and results framework
- Provide support in developing relevant programme documents and timely procurement follow up to ensure efficient delivery of humanitarian program
- Support and coordinate delivery of the day-to-day project activities to ensure prompt and adequate delivery of results
- Any other duties related to the implementation of the programme as required
- Provide technical support in the implementation of programme activities
- Organize the capacity building efforts of the humanitarian programme, including organizing relevant trainings and workshops
- Ensure regular updates are shared within UN Women, implementing partners, and stakeholders
- Conduct regular follow up with implementing partners to ensure timely submission of financial and narrative reports, and provide substantive input
- Support in the development of reports, proposals, case studies and other relevant documentation
- Follow up on budget utilization and project expenditure
- Provide inputs to resource mobilization strategies
- Analyze information and develop database of project profiles.

Qualification & Experience:

- At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience with a particular focus on gender and protection in emergencies
- Technical experience in gender in humanitarian action and gender mainstreaming
- Experience working in a humanitarian programming in Northern Ethiopia
- Experience working in the UN System in humanitarian emergencies is an asset.
