The DRC has published a job vacancy announcement on 19^th May 2022 for qualified Kenyans to fill in the vacant post of Partnerships Coordinator to be based in Nairobi, Kenya.

DRC Job Vacancy 2022

Overall Purpose Of The Role: The Partnerships Coordinator will contribute to the realisation of DRC Strategy 2025 with a focus on building equitable and strategic partnerships by working with and through local partners in Kenya. The role will provide guidance, support and capacity strengthening related to localisation and partnerships as well as lead the implementation of the DANIDA funded Civil Society Engagement Project in Kenya. The role will foster and strengthen partnerships with civil society (CBO’s, CSO’s, & NGOs), private sector, authorities or think tanks. The role will support area offices in implementing DRC tools and processes as well as coordinating the improvement of partnership management structures both within program and support service teams. Where needed, the role will take on a short-term management role in setting-up pilot partnership programs. The role will be guided by DRC’s committement to support people affected by conflict and displacement by building self-sustainable local capacities and sustainable local development into our programming and operations.
