IOM Job Vacancy 2021
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the implementation of the BRMM program; monitor implementation of the activities to ensure work is proceeding according to established plans; analyse implementation difficulties and make recommendations for adjusting implementation modalities and work plans to best reflect changing environment on the field.
- Monitor the BRMM program budget expenditures; verify availability of funds and maintain a proper record of approved program budgets and their revisions.
- Coordinate and monitor the financial, administrative and technical aspects of the BRMM program in line with IOM policies and donor requirements.
- Participate in meetings and conferences; maintain effective liaison and coordination with local authorities, partners, United Nation agencies, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, donors and other stakeholders relevant to the program.
- Coordinate the preparation of correspondence, briefing notes, presentations, narrative and financial reports; ensure status reports are prepared and submitted in a timely manner.
- Identify and document good practices and lessons learned; contribute to the development of Standard Operations Procedures (SOP), policies and concept papers and support the development of new program/projects
- Support the Senior Regional Labour Mobility and Human Development Specialist on administrative, technical, programmatic and policy issues and capacity building, training, and general support to the network of Labour and Human Development focal points in Country Offices in the region.

Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, International
- Business/International Affairs, Social Studies, or a related field from an accredited academic institution.
Experience:
- At least five years of relevant professional experience
- At least seven years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in management and business administration from public and/or private sectors, UN, other INGOs;
- Experience in public-private partnerships and liaising with governmental and diplomatic authorities as well as with international institutions;
- Experience in working on the field in the region with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups; and,
- Prior work experience in the region with international humanitarian organizations,
- non- government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
