Major Responsibilities:
- Provide overall technical leadership for project strategies and program activities and ensure they are based on and use global and project generated evidence
- Mentor and build capacity of technical staff in policy, advocacy, governance, financing, HSS and emergency preparedness for FP/RH programs in fragile settings.
- Regularly use and apply data to inform program direction and decisions.
- Provide technical leadership in staffing, work planning, assessments, monitoring and reporting in collaboration with partners
- Lead relationships and maintain collaborative links of key partners at country, regional, and global levels
- Encourage technical coordination between implementing partners, with other USAID projects, and external organizations
- Work creatively with technical staff and provide quality assurance for their outputs
- Provide dedicated representation with key counterparts and in technical working groups, and step in for the COP and/or Deputy COP as needed
- Ensure PROPEL Round 2 proactively identifies and engages local organizations equipped to deliver program interventions in PROPEL’s purview and ensure that their technical and managerial capacity is enhanced through the partnership with PROPEL R2.

Qualification:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health, health systems strengthening.
