Duties And Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the Manager of the Slum and Upgrading Programme (PSUP), the consultant will be responsible for the following targeted goals before the closure of the programme:
- Ensure MyPSUP platform has 3000 users – linking to Country Teams, partners and pro-actively engage platform with team members
- Ensure country pages are updated and country outputs uploaded (from 40)
- Ensure tools and guidelines produced by PSUP III are available on the website
- Ensure communication key messages related to the Global Publication and advocacy of the programme are implemented
- Conduct the Country Campaigns (30 country campaigns)
- Ensure publishing of events, press releases and other communication products;
- Conduct 3 impact stories from PSUP III projects
- Ensure that results of the programme monitoring are published on the website
- Produce the final report and writing of summaries and programme outputs

Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Journalism, political science, social or economic studies or any other related academic background;
Experience:
- Three years of progressively responsible experience in communication, journalism, writing, ideally on the themes of slum upgrading, housing or urban development is required. Familiarity with the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries and their particular urban development and slum upgrading needs is desirable.
