UN Habitat Job Vacancy 2022
Duties amd Responsibilitirs: The position to be filled is: Consultant for pilot project design and costing. Based on the results of the participatory community planning of the 9 neighborhoods in Conakry, each consultant will be responsible for the design of the priority pilot projects (preliminary and detailed design) as well as the precise costing for their implementation of 3 neighborhoods.This consultation is part of the achievement of the project’s result 5 and aims to support the implementation of the activity “Facilitate the participation of youth, women and people with disabilities in pilot projects” in the nine selected neighborhoods. More specifically, it will involve:
- Translate the identified pilot projects in quality technical drawings that will serve as a basis for their implementation
- make the detailed costing for each project
- The recruited consultant will work under the supervision of the SANITA Sustainable Cities Project’s Chief Technical Advisor with a technical team composed of experts from the project. He/she will work in close collaboration with the Institut Supérieur d’Architecture et d’Urbanisme de Conakry and community organizations.
