UN Habitat Job Vacancy 2022
Job Responsibility: Under the overall supervision of the WUF Coordinator and with technical oversight from the Head of the Production Unit, the incumbent will be required to perform the following functions:
- Design mock-ups of the website (wireframes) and final prototypes/screen designs of the website, including new subsections as required.
- Develop website specifications based on functional requirements and an implementation plan.
- Write code for both the backend and frontend of the new WUF website, primarily in Drupal.
- Collaborate with team members on development of web applications and new features for various event management services.
- Work closely with the WUF Coordination Office in site planning, technical layout, selection, and integration of web applications.
- Monitor and implement security patches on the WUF website.
- Develop website specifications based on functional requirements and an implementation plan
- Take part in the technical reviews and testing processes.
- Incorporate inclusive web design standards to make the WUF website accessible to people with disabilities.
- Assist in migration of contents from previous and current WUF websites to the new WUF website; carry out needs’ assessment for new web projects.
- Take part in the technical reviews and testing processes.
- Create and update documentation for the WUF website and related applications.
