UN Women Job Vacancy 2021
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support and inputs in the preparation of work plans, budgets and proposals;
- Assist Policy Advisor in identification of human resource need for the unit;
- Coordinate selection process of consultants and follow up for deliverables and final payments;
- Support Country Offices and Multi country offices in the selection process of Human Resource needs;
- Support with the development and updating roster of experts under WEE;
- Ensures logistics are properly undertaken pertaining to the organization of workshops, seminars, events and other activities, and prepares relevant budget and participant lists;
- Coordinate the collection of information for the audit of projects and support implementation of audit recommendations;
- Liaise with high level officials on administrative issues;
- Contribute to the development or update of standard operating procedures, guidelines, checklists, templated and business process in Project Management.

Qualification:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in social sciences, organizational development, human rights, gender/ women’s studies, international development, or a related field is required;
- A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree;
- A project/programme management certification (such as PMP®, PRINCE2®, or MSP®) would be an added advantage.
Experience
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in development programme/project implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation, donor reporting and capacity building;
- Experience in Women Economic Empowerment is an asset;
- Experience coordinating and liaising with government agencies and/or donors is an asset;
- Experience in the use of ATLAS or related software is an asset.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English is required;
- Knowledge of the other UN official working language is an asset.
