Job Responsibilities: Under the direct supervision of the Chief of the Adaptation Unit, the intern will carry out the following:
- Existing programmes (government, donor and private sector based) to support the adaptation investments;
- Sources of public and private sector financing for the programmes
- Main institutional and policy frameworks that support implementation of the adaptation priority
- Barriers to finance including institutional and policy barriers
- Identification of suitable funds and facilities for adaptation finance to support UNEP programming.
