UNEP Job Vacancy 2024
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the conduct of research on specific funding partners, their funding priorities and contribution history to UNEP and to the multi-lateral system.
- Support the preparation of funding profiles before bilateral meetings.
- Support the development of financial and narrative reports sent to funding partners (e.g. United Nations Development Account – UNDA).
- Support the preparation of PSP&RM events, such as bilateral consultations and other meetings with Member States.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Qualification & Experience:
- Completion of High School education is required. Completion of University is an asset. Supplementary course and training in accounting, finance, budget or directly related fields highly desirable.
- Three years’ experience in finance, accounting, research or data analysis is required.
- Working experience with UNEP and knowledge of the financial procedures and processes will be an asset. Fair knowledge of Financial Management and accounting is required.
- Analytical thinking and clear and concise drafting skills are required.
