UNEP Job Vacancy 2023
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Head of the OEWG Secretariat, the senior consultant will focus on the following duties:
- Coordination of meetings of the TAG to the UNEP ED (face-to-face and / or virtual).
- Development of materials outlining the work of the TAG for dissemination to the wider stakeholder groups (Member States and Major Groups).
- Conceptual framework (as linked to scope and functions of the panel).
- Prioritisation framework (as linked to scope of the panel).
- Definition of working relationship with existing structures and key partners.
Qualification & Experience:
- Advanced university degree in a field related to international assessments, policy and governance, communications, economics, natural sciences.
- At least 7 years of working experience in international assessments
- Awareness of multi-lateral process
- Experience in intergovernmental processes
Languages:
Fluency in English, including good drafting/writing skills is required. Working knowledge of other UN languages is an asset.
