Job Purpose: The objective of the assignment is to support the UNICEF Kenya country office in the delivery, monitoring and ongoing assessment of an emergency cash transfer responseaiming to address the needs of children and their caregivers resulting from widespread drought in the country. Among other responsibilities, the consultant willbe expected to have a particular focus on supporting engagement with UNICEF’s local partners, coordination with other humanitarian actors,and to document ongoing lessons and reflections thatpromotelearning and improvement, with a view towards ultimately strengthening the shock-responsiveness of Kenya’s social protection system.
