Activities and Tasks: In close consultation with iCCM-TAG, Nutrition Information Technical Working Group (NITWG), Emergency Nutrition Advisory Group (ENAC), the consultant will develop a detailed work plan that will outline the specific activities/tasks, timelines and associated costs. Specifically, the consultant will undertake the following;
- Inception reportThe consultant will develop a detailed implementation plan including baseline coverage assessment plans.
- Development of implementation research design and protocol and seek ethical clearance. This will include refining of research questions, methodology development, data collection plan and sampling plan.
- Provide technical support to the research implementing partners on preparation and implementation of the research activities which include development of field work plans, adaptation of training materials, training of enumerators, data collection and analysis and dissemination of research findings at various levels.
- Data analysis write final report and prepare a slide deck for dissemination to stakeholders. The consultant will prepare final report with all relevant documents.

Qualification:
- Advanced degree in relevant field, preferably public health and / or nutrition with community focus.
Experience:
- At least 10 years of professional experience in nutrition, public health, or related fields at the national and international level
- management and analysis applications. Proficiency in use of relevant computer applications including quantitative and qualitative data, Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and professional skills in interacting with government and development, implementing partners and other stakeholders, Highly motivated and committed to core values of professionalism, accountability, courage in action, integrity and teamwork.
