How can you make a difference?
The Security Unit NE operates in Borno state with a sister unit operating in Yobe. The Units provide advisory and coordination services with other UN and AFPs organizations in NEA to execute WFP mandate in timely manner.
In this role, you will be
- Planning collaboratively with vendor the construction project according to unit’s demands.
- Creating a construction Schedule in collaboration and agreement with selected vendor.
- Follow up with budget allocated for the construction project.
- Creating a cut down of construction tasks to be covered by the winning bidder
- Tracking vendors work and supplies for the project to maintain timely delivery.
Qualification & Experience:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate programme (for example, master’s degree) from a recognized university and has attended classes in the past 12 months or a recent graduate from an undergraduate or graduate programme (within six months before the application to the internship programme) from a recognized university and has attended classes in the last 12 months of enrolment in the university, in the field of Business Administration; Economics with focus on Project Management and Budget Control; or a graduate from a Project Management Program.
