Job description: The project is part of the Sustainable Economic Cluster and focuses primarily on digital transformation, innovation and entrepreneurship. The University of Lagos is a key partner of the project.
Your tasks:
- Drive technology and digital innovation projects, from research and development and prototyping to development and implementation
- Work with the hub’s community to identify opportunities for digital transformation and develop strategies to leverage the latest technologies
- Develop Minimum Viable Products addressing local/global challenges by leveraging technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), Robotics, 3D-Printing and Artificial intelligence (AI)
- Contribute to upskilling of talents within the hub community on the use and practical applications of digital technologies such as IoT, Robotics, AI and Blockchain
Qualification & Experience:
- University degree or professional qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
- Several years of experience in digital innovation, digital transformation, or related fields and delivering capacity development training activities
- Demonstrable experience with digital technologies such as AI, IoT, Robotics, and 3D-Printing
- Strong knowledge of Fablab operations and digital technologies such as CAD, 3D-printing, Laser cutting, CNC machining etc and proven experience with digital hardware prototyping and solutions development
- Professional experience and relevant expertise in the management of stakeholders, partnerships and networks as well as in innovation promotion
- Business fluent in English, fluency in German is an advantage
