Tasks and responsibilities
- Prepare and verify warehouse and transport documents, and maintain confidential files and accurate warehouse transaction records, to ensure immediate reporting on Inputs movements in line with the corporate requirements.
- Support daily warehouse closing reconciliation and accurate inventory checks in compliance with the warehouse management requirements.
- Perform daily inspections and prepare reports on the quantity and quality of the Inputs received/ dispatched and handled and refer to the supervisor for appropriate action.
- Support implementation of appropriate measures to safeguard Inputs and to ensure quality control using standard preventive measures in line with FAO established procedures and authorization received from the supervisor.
- Monitor condition of the warehouse and Inputs and take appropriate actions to support efficient warehouse space-utilization and well-organized Input storage following FAO warehouse standards.
- Perform any other related duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
Eligibility criteria
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields; Administrative management, logistics and warehouse, rural development, agricultural science/economics.
- Three years working experience in warehouse management
- South Sudan National.
Technical/Functional Skills:
- Strong computer, word processing, and statistical skills.
- Working knowledge of English and Arabic will be an added advantage
- Experience in handling web based information management system.
- Proven supply management skills
