UNDP Job Vacancy 2023

Institutional Arrangement: Under the direct supervision of the –ICT Analyst (Team Leader), Ensures implementation of ICT strategies and introduction and implementation of new technologies, for the Country Office, out-posted project teams and Government counterparts.

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

Master’s degree in science, Informatics, Computer Sciences, or other related fields is highly preferable OR
Bachelor’s degree in science, Informatics, Computer Sciences, or other related fields with additional 2 years of relevant experience will be given due consideration in lieu of master’s degree.

Experience:

Minimum two years of professional experience in the area of IT /Project Management in government and/or private sectors
Solid networking capacity.
Excellent analytical skill.
Excellent inter-personal and team building skills.
Solid skill in providing project advisory services, monitoring and evaluation.
Ability to work with a multidisciplinary and multicultural team.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Good organization and management skills.
Excellent skill in using computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.), advance knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages.
Creative problem solving and ability to work in a team with positive attitude.
Ability to communicate and give a good presentation, report, and able to work independently and in a team.
Experience in IT infrastructure design and architecture in adapting concepts for one health data.
Experience in IT Consultancy in providing monitoring, evaluation, and assessment of IT project milestone, technical procedure, and system information development in government bodies, private companies, and/or NGOs.
Solid knowledge on security concept of application systems and computer networks.

Required Language:

Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
Knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage.
