UNDP Job Vacancy 2021
Job Purpose: The Partnership Management Support Unit (PMSU) where the position of Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist is located, was created in the UNDP Country Office in recognition of the scale and complexity of UNDP programme in South Sudan. PMSU provides quality assurance and corporate compliance advice to senior management, programme, and operations units in; programme oversight and quality control, partnerships, and resource mobilisation, deepening of results-based management and enterprise risk management and knowledge management..

Qualification:
- Essential: Master’s Degree in Development Studies, Business Administration, Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Sciences, Development Economics, international relations, public administration, or related field. Practical training in programme management and evaluation (including Results Based Management), survey and research. Knowledge on UNDP corporate planning system is highly desired.
- Desirable: A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional work experience in international development at national and international levels. Experience managing various types of evaluations (project, outcome, thematic, strategic, organizational) and developing outcome-oriented monitoring and evaluation systems Experience working on Results Based Management, including effective planning, monitoring, and reporting of results essential Experience in delivering and facilitating innovative approaches and solutions to development programming would be an advantage..
