UNMISS Job Vacancy 2023
Org. Setting and Reporting: This position is located in the Board of Inquiry Unit of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) Juba. Juba is classified in the “E” category and as a non-family duty station. The incumbent will report to Chief, Board of Inquiry Office.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- High School or equivalent diploma is required.
Job – Specific Qualification:
- Technical or vocational certificate of training in conducting Boards of Inquiry, investigative or paralegal proceedings is desirable.
Work Experience:
- At least eight years of relevant progressively responsible experience in administration, law or related areas is required.
- Experience with rules and procedures relating to Board of Inquiry functions is desirable.
- Experience in Board of Inquiry or any other entity involved in investigative proceedings is desirable.
- Experience in handling confidential documents is desirable.
Languages:
- English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in English (both oral and written) is required.
