UNMISS Job Vacancy 2023
Org. Setting and Reporting: This position is located in the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), Juba. Juba is classified in the “E” category and as a non-family duty station. The incumbent will report to the Chief Centralized Warehouses Unit or his/her designated official.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in supply chain management, logistics, business administration/management, project management, engineering, or related area. A first-level university degree in combination with an additional two (2) years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Work Experience:
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible relevant experience in supply chain management, logistics support operations: logistics planning, warehouse management, inventory management, distribution, or related areas in a complex organizational environment, is required.
- Experience in warehousing operations in the United Nations Common System or similar international organization or non-governmental organization is required.
- Experience in the area of centralized warehousing is required.
- Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is desirable.
- Experience in Performance Management, data management, performance reporting using business intelligence tools for data analysis and visualization is desirable.
Languages:
- English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the position advertised, fluency in oral and written English is required.
