UNMISS Job Vacancy 2023

Org. Setting and Reporting: This position is located in the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) with duty station in Juba, in the Medical Section and under the Service Delivery Pillar of the Mission Support Division. The incumbent will report to the Medical Officer (Infections Diseases and Public Health). Juba is classified in the “E” category and as a non-family duty station.

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of five (05) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of training organization and support, design, delivery and evaluation of training courses or related areas such as assessing training needs and planning training programmes is required. The minimum years of relevant experience is reduced to 3 for candidates who possess a first-level university degree or higher.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in the area of adult learning, training or staff development is desirable.
  • Experience within the United Nations Common System or comparable international organization is desirable.
  • Experience using a Learning Management System, Applications & Products (SAP/UMOJA), PeopleSoft, or any similar Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) is desirable.
  • Experience working in a multicultural and/or international work environment is desirable.

Languages:

  • English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in English (both oral and written) is required.
