Eligibility Criteria:
- A university or polytechnic degree preferably in Finance/Economics, Logistics, Public Administration, Law, Human Resources Management or a related discipline
- At least five years demonstrated progressing experience in leading Units (HR, Logistics and Procurement, IT) in large scale Country Offices
- Proven track of strengthening systems across the organization
- Multi-country experience of working in a multi-cultural setting required; familiarity with the South Sudan context is a strong advantage
- Experience with strategy development, operational design/management, and change management
- System thinker, with service orientation and exceptional analytical skills
- Leadership ability with demonstrated capacities to analyse needs, develop a plan and action the plan to completion
- Capacity building approach with proven track of growing national staff through coaching and mentoring
- Working knowledge of budget development and management
- Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel to project locations where living conditions are basic
- Readiness to receive necessary vaccinations for traveling to Welthungerhilfe’s programme countries
- Excellent communication skills, including fluent spoken and written English
