IGCP was formed in 1991 to address the long-term conservation of the mountain gorilla (Gorilla beringei beringei) and its regional afromontane forest habitat in the Virunga Bwindi Landscape. Our aim has been to work together as a single gorilla conservation program in order to expand and consolidate the successes of the Mountain Gorilla Project and other initiatives at a regional level.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the refueling process is followed for timely projections, approvals, reconciliations, and data accuracy is achieved and maintained.
  • Analyze the fuel graphs to identify thefts on site and escalate them to the security team to ensure proper security on site is maintained.
  • Analyze DG fuel consumption and NOC reports for errors to ensure actionable points are extractable and usable.
  • Daily compilation, analysis, tracking of generator readings run hours, and escalating faulty odometer readings to the relevant contractor and company.
  • Maintain good relationships with all internal and external stakeholders with the aim to distribute information in a timely manner.
  • Conduct site surveys for hybrid integration, timely escalation, and dispatch of any site abnormalities to the company and authorities for resolution.
  • Track and escalate all hybrid functionality affecting faulty parts (e.g. DG controllers, faulty rectifiers, batteries, etc) to the operation and maintenance appointed person.
  • Ensure that all hybrid systems e.g power alarms are properly configured and integrated for hybrid functionality.
  • Track, review, and analyze site-wise CPH periodically, generator hours, and fuel consumed daily from contractors.
  • Distribute energy logistics and other reports to all stakeholders monthly.•Issuing controlled access codes for hybrid systems to O&M vendors during their routine maintenance loops
  • Remotely change and reconfigure Hybrid settings for optimal savings whenever required.
  • Tracking generator and other sources of power for run hours from NOC alarm dumps by calculating the start and end time of alarm dumps, extracting alarm dumps from different monitoring tools, and tracking the generator, batteries, and main run hours.
  • Daily follow-up on escalated faults with all grid service providers beyond 2 days and other short-term faults such as Transformer, service cables, and meter faults with all grid service.
  • Track, record, and analyze the performance of all grid faults on all electrified sites and their closure dates to feed into other processes such fuel reconciliation process.
  • Re-verify the grid meter readings with the grid field data collected from fueling, Preventive maintenance, and field teams.
  • Ensure regular review meetings with key accounts manager of all grid suppliers, Ubuntu Towers O&M contractors, and internal teams and implement any recommended solutions which can improve the correctness of bills.
  • Prepare monthly grid utilization governance report and share it with management and internal sections.
  • Prepare and record evidence of all grid physical bills and their sign-offs for the smooth running of the ISO audits.
  • Identify and implement sites requiring (conversions from postpaid to prepaid, 1P to 3P, Change of Meter/account numbers, account names, etc).

Qualification:
