Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure smooth running of all activities in the administration section at the country office – Kampala.
- Ensure that the staff offices are maintained clean at all times and that all faulty items are worked on immediately.
- Ensure that the staff effectively make use of the biometric system machine and reports are generated on a monthly basis and share with your supervisor for progress monitoring of the system.
- Supervise all repairs and works at the Kampala offices.
- Ensure that the Baby Room is clean at all times, to provide safe environment to both the mothers and the babies.
- Ensure that occupational health and safety requirements and procedures are in place.

Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or Industrial and Organizational Psychology or equivalent.
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
- A least 5 years of office administration experience at mid-senior management, in similar role.
- Substantive experience working in Administration with a strong analytical and operational background.
- Previous experience working with an international NGO in a cross-cultural setting.
- Previous team leader experience and knowledge of team dynamics desirable.
Functional knowledge, skills, and ability:
- Strong office administration background and experience.
- Systematic, good administrative skills.
- Remains productive when under pressure.
- Excellent leadership and coaching skills.
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in influencing and advising on a wide range of office administration compliance issues.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask.
- Ability to establish strong cross-functional relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Ability to listen, but also to persuasively convey opinions and recommendations.
- Deep understanding of Uganda employment laws & regulations.
- Required to be discreet and maintain confidentiality.
- Willingness to travel frequently to field offices Bidibidi, Imvepi, Lamwo, Moroto, Kyaka, etc.,
