IGCP South Africa looking for “Data Capturer Associate”.

IGCP was formed in 1991 to address the long-term conservation of the mountain gorilla (Gorilla beringei beringei) and its regional Afromontane Forest habitat in the Virunga Bwindi Landscape. Our aim has been to work together as a single gorilla conservation program in order to expand and consolidate the successes of the Mountain Gorilla Project and other initiatives at a regional level.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Strengthening and capacity building on existing national health information systems such as EDR. Web, TIER. Net, DHIS, HPRS and others) to enhance data visibility via dashboards and cascade analysis to enhance programme improvement.
- Support in conducting Onsite Data Verifications (OSDV).
- Provide technical support and assistance on Filing System.
- Provide technical support and assistance on clearing of Data Capturing backlogs
- Review of data extracts and providing Feedback.
- Support data capturing related activities at beyond zero as the need arises.
- Participate in quality improvement projects.
- Participate in district and sub-district MERL meetings, workshops and discussions to provide ongoing technical support
- Any other duties as may be determined necessary
Eligibility Criteria
Level of Education:
- Diploma/ Degree/ TVET Qualification will be an added advantage.
- Fully computer literate (proficient working knowledge of MS office, including databases)
Skills:
- Ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- High attention to details
- Strong team player with exceptional people skills, broad minded and able to manage a varied and multicultural environment;
