Assignment Summary
Consultant will be based in South Africa and responsible for will provide:
- Logistical support in coordinating all trainings and stakeholder events.
- Assist with identifying and reserving venues
- Communicate with potential participants on scheduling and events
- Develop and monitor attendee lists for events
- Arrange logistics for events and trainings, including but not limited to, catering, printing of materials, audio visuals, distribution and collection of surveys and IT needs.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 5 years of prior work experience coordinating trainings, workshops, on monitoring evaluation and learning of international development projects, preferencly in energy sector or related field
- Experience working with international donor organizations such as USAID, World Bank, IFC, UN, etc.
- Experience working with stakeholders, renewable energy companies, civil society organizations and Universities.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet (preferably Excel), and presentation software (Microsoft)
- Ability to work with a variety of persons and organizations having diverse issues, concerns, agendas.
- Good interpersonal skills and time management
