UNAIDS Job Vacancy 2022
Main tasks and Responsibilities of the Position: Under the guidance and direct supervision of the UNAIDS Country Director, the Operations Officer supports effective financial and administrative management in the office. This specifically includes the management of the operating budget, financial analysis and reporting, and administration.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- Essential: Advanced university degree at Master´s level or equivalent in Public Administration, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or another area related to the duties and responsibilities. A relevant first university degree and 4 years of relevant professional experience will be considered as equivalent for internal candidates only.
- Desirable: Specialization or a relevant professional qualification in accounting, financial control or a related discipline.
Experience:
- Essential: A minimum of 2 years of operations administration experience, including in one or more of the following areas: budgeting, finance, contract management or human resources management. Experience in the use of a variety of financial management tools and computer software packages.
- Desirable: Relevant international organizations’ experience.
Languages:
- Essential: Advanced level of English.
- Desirable: Knowledge of additional UN official languages or official languages of South Africa.
