WHO Job Vacancy 2021
Description Of Duties: To provide technical support to Department of Health with the aim of strengthening the national capacity for control of tuberculosis; especially in NDOH priority provinces; Specifically, to support the Ministries of Health in: a. The development of technical guidelines, training materials, standard operating procedures, and implementation tools for TB prevention and control in line with international guidelines and best practices;
Job Description:

- Grade: NO-C
- Contractual Arrangement: Fixed-term appointment
- Contract Duration (Years, Months, Days): 24 months
Eligibility criteria:
Education
- Essential: Medical degree from a recognized university with postgraduate degree in public health/epidemiology or other related field.
- Desirable: Training in programmatic management of DR-TB, Global Funds grant making process, Health Systems Management, Monitoring and Evaluation of health programmes.
Experience
- Essential: At least5 years of professional experience in the prevention and control of TB at national level including experience of management of TB/HIV.
- Desirable: Demonstrable experience of working in community TB Care and HIV programmes.
