UNV Job Vacancy 2021
Description of task: Under the direct supervision of the Head of Field Office, Kaoma, and under the technical/functional supervision of the Livelihoods Officer, the UN Volunteer will undertake the following tasks: Support and ensure a sustained and structured co-ordination mechanism (regular meetings, information sharing etc) of livelihoods projects in Mayukwayukwa Settlement; Contribute to timely, effective and efficient implementation of all livelihood’s interventions, by livelihoods partner, including improved targeting and identification of beneficiaries, distribution of inputs and business capital/grants, facilitation of capacity building sessions etc.

Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, Development Economics or related fields; Diploma holders with substantial work experience will also be considered.
Experience
- Previous experience in refugee protection, community development, or social work;
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel essential);
- Excellent drafting and communication skills in English;
- Knowledge of Swahili, French, Kinyarwanda, and/or Zambian languages is an asset.
