Accountabilities:
- The Digital Skills Project Manager will ensure that the WFP Digital Skills project is executed and that inception, implementation and exit strategies and plans are developed.
- Ensure all relevant people are kept informed about progress, project plans and implementation, progress reports, and other significant developments.
- Ensure that project deliverables that include but not limited to, outputs, outcomes, financial and narrative reports for the WFP Digital Skills projects are up to date
- Provide technical assistance on the development of all project implementation plans and budgets within the framework of the emergency response plan and the Disaster Risk Management strategy.
- Ensure that Child Protection standards are adhered to by Plan staff, partners and implementing parties.
- Ensure that all Plan interventions have a clear focus on girls and young women.
- Produce disaster response plans and situation analysis reports

Qualification:
- A degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
Experience
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience at a similar level preferably in a private sector environment.
- Understanding of the workings of private sector and opportunities that could be harnessed for digital technology
- In-depth understanding 4IR and AI and linking them with development issues, employability and entrepreneurship
- Knowledge of strategic planning processes development issues, trends, challenges, opportunities and implications to community development
- Knowledge of the local language
Skills
- Excellent training and facilitation skills
- Good networking and partnership building skills
- Good communication, facilitation and report writing skills
- Strong negotiating, strategic thinking and influencing skills
- Knowledge and skills: knowledge of PLAN policies and procedures, NGO Code of Conduct. Requires general finance, administration, information management and telecommunication skills and proficiency in information technology/ computer skills.
