Plan International Job Vacancy 2021
Accountabilities:
- Overall responsibility for effective and efficient management of the malaria project consistent with the project management cycle. A good understanding of Plan procedures, systems and guidelines.
- Initiate and maintain regular, minuted project team meetings.
- Reporting in line with the donor contracts and compliance requirements.
- Ensure monitoring systems are in place and that project reviews are carried out periodically in conjunction with the team, local stakeholders and project partners.
- Travel as dictated by the need of the project.

Qualification:
- A degree in Health Promotion, Public Health or equivalent qualification.
Experience
- Additional qualifications and experience in project management, monitoring of BCC activities, report writing and social/community development skills will be an added advantage.
- Ability to co-ordinate holistic and integrated project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
- First-hand knowledge of Zimbabwe National Malaria Control Programme.
- A minimum of 3 years practical experience working with rural communities.
- Experience of donor liaison.
- Experience in financial, budget and administrative management or related issues.
- Knowledge of strategic planning processes and theories of child-rights programming.
- Knowledge of development issues, trends, challenges and opportunities and implications to community development.
- Class 3 or 4 Driver’s license and willingness to ride a motorbike.
