Main Duties and Responsibilities
The main responsibilities will include the following key areas:
- Lead the implementation and day-to-day management of the UNESCO-led UNPRPD activities in consultation with the SHS Programme Specialist and the UNPRPD Project Coordinator;
- Ensure that the UNPRPD Round 4 project and programme outputs are achieved in a timely manner as stated in the approved project proposal and workplan;
- Maintain regular and good communication with the UNPRPD co-implementing UN agencies, UNPRPD Project Coordinator, OPDs governments, and other partners as required, in order to ensure accountability and efficient implementation of UNESCO related project activities;
- Organize meetings and project activities with the UN Resident Coordinators Office, UN agencies, and Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) as required;
- Document all UNESCO-led project activities in compliance with UNPRPD Reporting Template requirements and ensure timely submission of the UNESCO report elements to the UNPRPD Project Coordinator for the Eswatini UNPRPD Round 4 Annual Donor Report;
- Support the SHS Programme Assistant in maintaining comprehensive administrative records, including financial statements of all project Expenditure incurred in compliance with UNESCO Administration Rules and Regulations;
- Ensure, with the support of the UNESCO Eswatini Team, UNESCO disability work is consistently reflected and reported in Eswatini UNCT and UNSDCF Framework reporting processes;
- Undertake the appropriate communication and dissemination of information to ensure
- UNESCO visibility via UNESCO ROSA and Eswatini UNCT communication platforms.

Qualification:
- Advanced academic degree in a related field – preferably Social Sciences, Development Studies, Sociology & Gender

- At least 5 years professional experience in one or more of the following fields: Social development, Disability Inclusion, Gender, Youth.
- Good knowledge of field works with CSOs.
- Good analytical skills.
- Knowledge about finance and administration of projects.
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
