WFP Job Vacancy 2021
Job Purpose:
WFP is conducting cost benefit analyses (CbA) of its FFA programmes in four countries, including Zimbabwe, to assess, characterize and quantify the benefits accrued against the costs of the selected FFA programmes focused on soil/water conservation, dams/water infrastructures, income generating activities/market support and complementary activities. These CbA will address the following study questions:
- What are the main tangible/intangible benefits of the FFA programmes in the selected study areas (qualitative/quantitative)? What is the monetary value of these benefits?
- What level of investments are required to deliver FFA? What is the monetary value of these investments?
- What is the Economic Rate of Return (ERR), the Net Present Value (NPV), and the Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) of FFA?

Qualification:
- Tertiary qualification in Economics, Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, or other relevant fields of study. Advanced degree is an asset.
Experience
- A minimum of 5-7 years of solid, proven experience in relevant areas
- Experience in conducting and/or managing applied research with experience in, or knowledge of, econometrics highly desirable.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with a diverse range of individuals and organisations.
- Demonstrated skills in presenting information in a clear and simple way with high-level written communication skills.
- Strong communication and analytical skills, with ability to convey (both verbally and in writing) complex information to stakeholders of varying levels of experience or ability.
- Excellent IT(Word, Excel, Power Point) skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
