Eligibility Criteria
- At least an Honours Degree at university level (copy-editing, graphic design, art direction, English). Any further formal qualifications above this required level is an asset.
- High-level copy-editing, design and layout of professional publications.
- At least five years of experience in handling publications of this nature, especially work with the international development community.
- Excellent understanding and command of English at the native level.
- Plain English writing and editing skills.
- Sufficient understanding of public finance and South African policy context.
- Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency is considered an asset.
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
