Your Tasks:

• Advice and process support for civil society partner organizations in the planning and implementation of participatory, inclusive and effective dialogue formats with the target groups
• Content and technical support for partners in conducting workshops and training in participatory methods of non-violent conflict transformation with their target groups
• Advice and support with a focus on sustainability; local anchoring and networking; Community of Practice of Dialogue and Peace Processes and Inclusion; Strengthening civil society, women and young people in dialogue and peace processes
• Advice and process support for civil society partner organizations in the formulation and strategic implementation of their human rights, advocacy and campaign work; including development and implementation of analyses, strategies, approaches and plans with your target groups
• The focus is on the capacity development of the partner organizations in the areas of dialogue, peacebuilding, conflict transformation, conflict sensitivity, and especially in the areas of advocacy, human rights as well as participation and inclusion; including gender and youth
• Preparation and updating of context, conflict and actor analyses, including human rights, gender, power and systems analyzes as well as “Reflecting on Peace Practice” (RPP) assumptions and effects;
• Supporting program and team processes – including strategic planning as part of a pool of skilled workers; Job in the pool of skilled workers at the ZFD office as well as the strategic orientation of the program on the topic of human rights and participation/inclusion.

Your Profile:

• Master’s degree or comparable degree in peace and conflict studies, human rights, social/regional/political science, or equivalent academic training
• Knowledge of conflict transformation, civil society, gender studies and inclusion work is an advantage
• Experience and practical knowledge in violence prevention, dialogue formats and non-violent conflict transformation from a civil society perspective
• Expertise in the field of human rights and advocacy work, e.g. in the structuring and implementation of advocacy campaigns is desirable
• Experience in gender analysis, working with gender-based violence and strengthening the representation and rights of women, youth and marginalized groups is an advantage.
