Job Role: Oxfam International’s Africa Platform is looking for Food and Economic Security Advisor to lead the direct support to Oxfam in Africa for humanitarian scale up and ongoing support of large humanitarian responses (CAT 1 and CAT 2 responses) and effectively contribute to the development of capabilities in programmes that address emergency food security and livelihood vulnerability. These include programmes that enable food and livelihood insecure communities and households to anticipate, mitigate and recover from food insecurity and also reduce their vulnerability to food and livelihood insecurity and build their resilience. A close work and promotion of the Local Humanitarian Leadership is also within this job’s scope.
