Role Purpose: The Safety and Access Manager will assist to reduce the risks posed to the program personnel and assets of all national and international SC staff in Somali region through the provision of specialized, coordinated, and focused security management support, Security Risk Management, briefings and inductions, security information management and training. The position will manage the safety and access activities in Jigjiga, Gode, Dollo and Moyale. This position will be based in Jigjiga but 50% will be field based outside Jigjiga mainly in Gode, Dollo and Moyale and operational woredas and will coordinate with Area Director (AD), Field Office Managers (FOM’s) and Staff Safety and Access team at CO to support the implementation of the SSA Department security plan.
