FAO Job Vacancy 2023
Reporting Lines: The Operations Assistant will work under the overall supervision of the FAO Representative in Kenya and under the direct supervision of the Head of Operations and in close collaboration with the programme/technical units.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Carry out data entry in FPMIS for creation of entity numbers, concept notes and project openings.
- Liaise closely with sector Programme Assistants to ensure that mapping of expenditures is done timely and correctly
- Undertake responsibility for preparing and submitting requests for accounting adjustments
- Carry out data entry in the staffing tool, to keep it updated by incorporating new budgets, new recruitments and staff movements
Qualification & Experience:
- University degree in social sciences, Education, Community Development, Programme Management or related Field
- 10 years of relevant experience in operations, project cycle, finance, budgeting, admin or related fields
- Working knowledge of English and Kiswahili
- Must be Kenyan Nationality
