IGCP was formed in 1991 to address the long-term conservation of the mountain gorilla (Gorilla beringei beringei) and its regional afromontane forest habitat in the Virunga Bwindi Landscape. Our aim has been to work together as a single gorilla conservation program in order to expand and consolidate the successes of the Mountain Gorilla Project and other initiatives at a regional level.

About the role: We are currently looking for our Design Engineer, Towers & Civil Works, to provide strategic and operational leadership in the area of Engineering of Towers and Civil works.
Main Duties:
- Standardize the our client product (site/tower) for different typologies in consultation with internal and external stakeholders
- Document and make standards and templates available to operating companies to streamline procurement processes
- Ensure and enable streamlined and efficient design and purchasing decisions
Qualification & Experience:
- Undergraduate degree in an appropriate field of Engineering (Civil)
- PMP Certification or equivalent is a plus 2 – Experience
- 10+ years’ experience Telecom / TowerCo Network Civil Works design
- Excellent understanding of Telco site-build and maintenance, including in an EPC environment Excellent understanding of design and engineering of towers and structures
- Experience with tower design software (e.g., tnxTower, etc.) for structures strength assessment, and strengthening to increase load-bearing capability
