IGCP Kenya looking for “IT Assistant”.

IGCP was formed in 1991 to address the long-term conservation of the mountain gorilla (Gorilla beringei beringei) and its regional afromontane forest habitat in the Virunga Bwindi Landscape. Our aim has been to work together as a single gorilla conservation program in order to expand and consolidate the successes of the Mountain Gorilla Project and other initiatives at a regional level.

IGCP Job Vacancy 2023
The main tasks for the position will be:
- This position holder will assist the IT Specialist in the management of all the company’s IT Assets including to design, Implementation and Maintenance of the IT infrastructure not limited to management of the lifecycle processes – Purchase, Install, Configure and De-install PC’s. Printers, LAN/WAN etc. Also update the IT Asset registry
- He / She in collaboration with the IT Specialist will be responsible for the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance & Operations Administration functions including managing User’s security Roles, User Trainings, Reports customizations and also collaborate with our supporting partner Impax for ERP system updates.
- He / She will ensure network stability and continuity in all areas all the time.
Qualification & Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position is essential.
- Self-motivated and a good team player.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills 5. Hands-on experience at configuring IT security solutions – firewalls, endpoint, mail gateway.
