IGCP was formed in 1991 to address the long-term conservation of the mountain gorilla (Gorilla beringei beringei) and its regional afromontane forest habitat in the Virunga Bwindi Landscape. Our aim has been to work together as a single gorilla conservation program in order to expand and consolidate the successes of the Mountain Gorilla Project and other initiatives at a regional level.

IGCP Job Vacancy 2023
Key Responsibilities:
- Strict observation of GMP and GLP
- Identify gaps in GMP and GLP implementation and appropriate mitigations.
- Receipt of raw materials
- Quarantine of raw materials and Finished products
- Sampling of Raw materials, process water and processes.
- Analysis of samples and interpretation of results
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry or Biochemistry
- MUST fully understand all the operations taking place in the entire quality control laboratory (chemistry and microbiology laboratory)
- Good knowledge of Pharmaceutical Quality Management Systems & GLP
- Conversant with WHO –GMP
- Computer literate
- Good written and oral communication skills
- 1- 2 Years experience in a similar role in the Pharmaceutical Industry will be an added advantage
